GOVERMENT
Apache nations did not have a central government. To have official agreements, they made treaties with the U.S. government. Though the U.S. government did not understand how it worked. For this reason, conflict was caused between the Apaches and the United States. Currently each Apache reservation now has its own tribal government. The council made its decisions to that reservation. Also, it is lead by a chairperson.
